I'm a journalist based in New York City, currently working as Assistant Editor of The Huffington Post.

Most recently I wrote for The Huffington Post out of their D.C. bureau and was a fellow at the National Journal.

I am an Iowa State University graduate, a political junkie, former music junkie, maker of incredible pasta and studied at Georgetown University through The Fund for American Studies Institute on Political Journalism.

At Iowa State I was the Ethos magazine editor-in-chief, covered the Iowa elections for The Huffington Post, an Iowa State Daily staff writer and photographer, Leo Mores Society of Professional Journalists Vice-President, a KCCI TV-8 intern and Iowa Independent intern.
